Dawson City International Short Film Festival (2022)
Love and Flowers is a stop-motion film that uses recycled flowers from Valentines Day gifting that got thrown away. The idea how valentines day, like many other holidays create products that are sold and then immediately thrown away. Disposability and how the juxtaposition of love for another and how the symbol of that love is so easily thrown away. It was shown as an outdoor projection after sunset each night.
The 2nd showing of Beauty Through Decay was at the Dawson City International Short Film Festival on Saturday, April 16th, 2022.
